A mere 3 miles East of the town of Looe, is the charming coastal village of Seaton. A typically Cornish collection of houses, attractions and restaurants beside the sea with outstretching views to the water. Popular nearby locations include Whitsand Bay, with it's stunning beaches and cliff edges, and slightly further afield is the designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the form of Rame Head Heritage Coast, another fantastic location to appreciate everything that the South West coastline has to offer.
Seaton itself has a lovely family beach with a large cafe, shops and toilets. It was recommended in 2014 for its excellent water quality in the Marine Conservation Society Good Beach Guide. The large beach of sand with small pebbles is south facing and located at the entrance of the River Seaton valley. Ideal for sailing (with slipway), surfing and shore fishing and for the younger ones some paddling and splashing out in the river.
