Looe Literary Festival
From 9th to 13th November, Looe will come alive to stories of heritage, smuggling and tales of days gone by.
The Looe Literary Festival, held every year in various venues around the town, offers more than just stories; sea shanties ring out from the historic town pubs, with traditional ales available and open-lit fires for warming against the November nip in the air. Fascinating presentations are given by a diverse and eclectic range of speakers, from adventurers to MPs, gardeners to celebrated authors, there’ll be something that takes your fancy. Or for a more hands on experience, immerse yourself completely with one of the poetry or creative writing workshops on offer.
There’s something happening around every corner and as well as the ticketed events, there are many that are free to attend.
Why not enjoy a holiday in Looe and take part in this magical festival? Or perhaps just visit for the day.
