Why Choose a Self-Catering Cottage Holiday?
It’s coming up to that time of year again – where to go for your annual summer holiday. Perhaps you have children - or a dog? Last year you booked yourself into a lovely hotel, but your dog had to go into kennels which not only cost a fortune but made your dog unhappy. The hotel was lovely but you couldn’t eat when you wanted to and there wasn’t much on the menu that the children enjoyed.
This year you know that when you go on holiday you really want to be able to relax as much as possible. This is when self catering holidays really come into their own – especially in Cornwall! Going on a self catering holiday in Cornwall has so many advantages. Most holiday cottages are situated on or near either a beach or superb outdoor environments. This means that if you have taken pets with you they can be walked easily. It also provides a playground on site for children.
Taking a self catering cottage holiday also means that you are really home from home. There are no restrictions on when you eat – and you will always be able to provide food to cater for all tastes. There are also no rules as to when you get up in the morning and what time you can return – and of course you will never have the annoyance of having to deal with the kitchen being closed. As for general mess – it’s true that there won’t be someone on hand to change to your towels or make your bed every day – but then you will not be required to vacate your room by 11.00am for this to happen! If your children walk in from the beach and walk sand into the carpet – all you have to do is get out the vacuum cleaner to get rid of the mess.
Last but by no means least – one of the main advantages of taking a self catering holiday would have to be the view that comes for free. You can be assured that the view you see in the picture is what you will receive. If you have booked your self catering accommodation in Cornwall, you will probably either see picturesque Cornish streets, views of the rugged Cornish coastline or beautiful Cornish beaches.
