This is a light, airy and spacious cottage style apartment situated on the level in the hub of West Looe just steps away from the harbour and working fishing quay where you can take a 5 minute walk into East Looe where all the shops, pubs, restaurants and amenities are found, along with East Looe's sandy beach. Alternatively you can step onto the water taxi for added fun (tide permitting) and this will also take you across to East Looe within a minute. This accommodation will suit couples looking for prime location as this is on the doorstep of pubs and restaurants in West Looe and provides comfortable and spacious accommodation with much care and thought by the owners to ensure every "home from home" is available. Tastefully furnished with a traditional flare, yet retaining lovely character with its beams and natural light colours throughout. This property boasts spacious lounge with views down over the rooftops with flatscreen tv and dvd, 1 double bedroom again with more roof top views, separate dining room, compact kitchen with washing machine and bathroom . Rear decked area with bistro table and seating for 2. Sleeps 2/3. Ample space in the dining room for a travel cot for a baby if required. SATURDAY TO SATURDAY CHANGEOVER APPLIES. This property is not suitable for the elderly or disabled in my opinion, as there steps leading up to the property.

Location Quietly located and tucked away this apartment offers privacy yet is easily accessible to the pubs and restaurants in West Looe along with convenience stores and amenities on hand. However, a 5 minute walk will see you in East Looe where all the pubs, shops, restaurants and amenities are found, along with East Looe's sandy beach. Quietly located behind the Jolly Sailor Pub and just off the quay, this cottage style apartment is ideally located in my opinion as the area is not busy, yet within a few seconds walk you are at the harbour where you can take a boat taxi (tide permitting) across to East Looe, or you can walk 5 mins around to the East side where you will find many pubs and locally renowned restaurants, long sandy beach, famous Banjo Pier amongst a good selection of art galleries and gift shops. In West Looe itself, there are 2 convenience stores located within a minute of the cottage. The Jolly Sailor Pub is also seconds away. 15 mins walk will see you at Hannafore where you will find another beach, with sandy pockets and many rock pooling areas, not to mention views across to the fabulous St. George's Island. It's at Hannafore that one can play tennis, pitch and put, or take a fantastic coastal walk across the fields and along mile upon miles of wonderful coastline. You may choose to walk to Talland Bay, or to another fishing village neighbour Polperro where you will find a quaint and wonderful village again steeped in true smuggling history with its colourful fishing harbour (still worked by the fishermen), many pubs with fine ales and well acclaimed restaurants, not to mention gift and art shops. There is much to see and do from your fabulous base, and for those wanting to explore further afield, you may wish to visit the bustling city of Plymouth (40 mins drive), vibrant cornish city of Truro (1 hour 15 mins drive), The Eden Project (40 mins drive), Bodmin Moors (30 mins drive). Also, for the beach lovers, there is mile upon mile of endless coastline in either direction.
Nearest Pub/Restaurant Yards from The Jolly Sailor Pub (the oldest pub in Looe) and a 3 minute walk to the Harbour Moon . 5 minute walk will see you in East Looe where there are many more pubs and restaurants to choose from. A 10 minute walk up to Hannafore will see you at the Waterfront Cafe serving excellent food with amazing sea views and Tom Sawyers Tavern, again servicing good quality pub or restaurant food whilst boasting magnificent sea and coastline views. The east side offers too many pubs and restaurants to mention. You have an amazing choice of eateries, bakeries, cafes, bistros etc, lots to suit every taste and budget.

Dining Facilities Separate dining room with table seating for 4. This room is suitable for a baby in a travel cot or single fold up bed available for child or small adult.

Bedrooms Ample sized double bedroom with views down over the roof tops. Additional space in this room or dining room for a travel cot for couples with a baby.
Bathrooms Bathroom with bath, wash hand basin and w.c.
Additional Features Short breaks available out of season. There are no key/coin meters at this property, therefore all utilities fall within the rental tariff.

Parking Alther there is no on site parking, you can park in the Mill Pool car park approximately 5 minutes walk away for an additional cost of £29.00 per week. Alternatively there is also parking on the West Looe Quay again at an additional cost. There is also free parking at Hannafore, approximately 10 minutes walk away. Please phone the office for more details regarding parking.

Additional Information The apartment is accessed via steps and for this reason in my opinion is not suitable for the elderly or disabled. This apartment is completely self contained. The access is by way of a door to the right of the owner's cottage, through an ample alleyway allowing access to some steps leading up to the front door. Once at the front door the apartment is laid out on one level.
