    This is a fantastic 2 bed semi detached property in a prominent position and all about location and views. Situated in the exclusive Hannafore area of West Looe, the property is quietly situated yet within quick and fairly easy walking distance of all of the amenities in Looe. From most of the main living rooms and bedrooms there are spectacular sea and coastline views. On entry to the property (via a gated side patio area) you enter the hallway. This leads into the spacious lounge with flat screen tv and dvd and wonderful large windows directly overlooking the harbour, the Banjo Pier, beach and mile upon mile of glorious coastline. The kitchen is modern and fully fitted boasting a table and seating for 2. Downstairs useful cloaks, spacious lounge/diner again with glorious sea and coastline views up and down the length of Looe and as far as Rame Head.     Property Type House
    Location What can I say about the location - its absolutely fantastic. Set at the end of Dawn Road (owned by the famous comedienne Dawn French) and yards away from her own property Clipper House Hotel. A few minutes walk away from Hannafore Beach. Minutes away from the start of the fabulous coastal foot path which could take you the whole length and right down to the farthest points in Cornwall, yet for the more conservative walker, will take you to Port Nadler, Talland Bay and onto Looe's neighbouring fishing villlage of Polperro. Hannafore is an exclusive and definitely up market area within Looe, boasting fabulous individually designed houses, spaced out and promoting a truly luxury feel to where you are staying. The views are awesome, overlooking the whole of the coastline, in addition to boasting a couple of cafes, tennis courts and pitch and put. The Hannafore Point Hotel is also about 2 mins walk away and this is open to non-residents offering leisure facilities and use of the swimming pool to members of the public. A 3 min walk will see you at Tom Sawyers Tavern for good food and fine ale, also the Waterfront Cafe, again offering a good menu and drinks (subject to season opening times), and a 10 mins walk will see you down into Looe via a coastal walk where you can either get a boat taxi (tide permitting) or walk the rest of the 5 mins or so into the east side. At the west Looe harbourside there is another pub - The Jolly Sailor, Londis and Spar convenience stores and some gift/art shops. The east side offers a vast selection of pubs, shops, restaurants, cafes and art/gift shops. Looe Harbour also offers many boat trips, glass bottom boat, coastal cruise, speed boat trips and fishing trips. Further afield, as there are miles of coastline in both directions from Looe, you can choose to visit a different bay/beach each day and still you wont have travelled far from the house. There is Millendreath, Seaton, Downderry, Portwrinkle, Whitsand Bay for example in one direction, and in the other, Talland Bay, Polperro (v. small beach), Lansallos, Fowey ....and I could go on and on. Polperro is a much smaller version of Looe, quaint with its traffic free streets, good selection of pubs and restaurants and art/gift shops, fabulous working fishing harbour like Looe and again forming part of the fabulous coastal footpath. Dawn End's loaction and its amenities are what put this fabulous property in our popular list of properties to stay. Truro city about 1 hour 15 mins away, Plymouth around 35 mins drive, The Eden Project around 40 mins drive, Bodmin Moor 25 mins drive. All in all a fantastic base offering more than home from home comforts, coupled with ideal location in terms of having much to do from your immediate vicinity, yet accessible to all that Cornwall has to offer. Not recommended for people with mobility restriction due to there being a few steps up to the property itself and the tiered rear garden areas. The area of Hannafore has a hill leading down to the harbour, however also has fabulous level walks along Hananfore seafront, which is also the start of the superb coastal walk.
    Nearest Pub/Restaurant The Waterfront Cafe around 3 minutes walk from the house, offering a good selection of food and fine ales. The Hannafore Point Hotel 3 minutes walk - you can use the swimming pool and facilities as a non resident. There is a cafe at Hannafore on the seafront around 5/6 minutes walk away offering light meals and snacks, plus an additional kiosk and seating area close-by for cream teas, snacks etc. A 10 minute walk will see you in the heart of West Looe for the oldest pub in Looe - The Jolly Sailor. A further 5 minute walk or boat taxi (tide permitting) will see you in the east side of Looe where there is a wide selection of pubs, restaurants, bistros to choose from.

    Bedrooms Double bedroom to the front of the property with huge picture windows boasting spectacular sea and coastline views. 19" flat screen tv. Triple wardrobe and chest of drawers. Rear twin bedroom with window looking up to the garden and smaller window with more sea views. Double wardrobe.
    Bathrooms Upstairs bathroom with bath, power shower over the bath, wash hand basin and w.c. Additional downstairs cloaks with w.c. (no wash hand basin).
    Additional Features Short breaks out of season. Minimum 3 night stay. There are no key/coin meters in the property, therefore all utilities fall within the rental tariff. Clothes airer, iron and ironing board.
    Heating Full gas central heating throughout, newly installed May 2013.
    Parking Parking in a garage to the front of the house for competent and confident drivers. Measurements of the garage are: 71" High and 84" wide. A Mondeo and Picasso have fitted in the garage previously. Vehicles must be parked in the garage at all times apart from loading/unloading. Advisable to leave the garage door open whilst parked in the garage to avoid someone parking in front of it! Additional free parking along Hannafore seafront around 4 minutes walk away.
    Outside To the front of the property is a lovely paved patio area with table and seating for 2. Amazing sea and coastline views from this sun terrace. To the rear is a tiered garden via some steps, leading to a lovely decked area again with garden furniture to take in more stunning views. Access to the rear garden is from the upstairs landing. There is also a side patio area leading to the front gate for additional privacy. Charcoal barbecue provided. Guests to provide own charcoal. 15 steps lead to an initial patio barbecue area, and a further 16 steps lead to a lovely large newly decked (June 2013) with table, seating for 4 and parasol. Magnificent and panoramic sea and coastline views - taking in the harbour, Banjo Pier, Looe Beach and miles along the coast including Rame Head.
