St. Martins Apartment is a fabulous modern 1st floor apartment in the popular residential area known as "The Barbican", where a 10 minute walk downhill will see you in the centre of Looe. The apartment forms 1 of 4 similar apartments. This quiet residential area offers a tranquil and relaxng base, yet close to local shops and amenities. St. Martins offers a very good standard of accommodation throughout and after walking up a flight 10 easy going steps to the front door you will find the accommodation is laid out on the level throughout. The added bonus is a parking space right outside the front door and some additional visitor car parking spaces are also closeby on a first come first served basis. Location St. Martins Apartment is fabulously located in a quiet residential area known as The Barbican. It has a pathway right next to the property allowing a downhill 10 min walk to the centre of East Looe. Meanwhile at the Barbican there are some local convenience stores like Spar and Londis, Chinese Take Away and Emiles Fish and Chips. Plaidy Beach is also on this side and around 15 mins walk. Once in the centre of Looe you will find the long sandy beach, Banjo Pier, bustling fishing harbour, many art/gift shops and lots of pubs and restaurants. There are many places to eat ranging from fish restaurants, cafes and bistros and good pub food galore, in addition to several well acclaimed local bakeries. Neighbouring fishing village Polperro lies a 5 mins drive away, the Eden Project around 40 mins drive, Millendreath Beach 5 mins drive, Seaton Beach 15 mins drive, Downderry 20 mins drive. The great thing about this apartment is that its position forms an ideal and convenient base. In either direction there are miles of coastline to discover, not forgetting 20 mins drive will see you on Bodmin Moor. 35 mins drive city of Plymouth. On the harbour in Looe there is a selection of boat trips also to tempt you from speed boat trip, glass bottom boat, coastal cruise etc etc. All in all an ideal base coupled with a very good and reasonably priced standard of accommodation.
