    My family and I had a fab time. Lovely cottage - we really enjoyed sitting on the verandah with a glass of wine looking at the views. Our dogs Molly & Harvey loved watching the world go by andI think they are both rather disappointed to be home (as we are1). We will definitely be looking at booking with you again next year. Cel Mawr, Cornish for "Big View" and this property certainly holds wonderful estuary views that can be taken in whilst sipping a drink and relaxing outside on your verandah! This is a unique cottage in Cornwall, it is spacious and boasts large lounge, kitchen with all usual extras, separate dining area, utility area, shower room, family sized bathroom, 2 double bedrooms (1 with 5 ft bed) and a twin bedded room. Outside there are 2 separate patio areas apart from the verandah. The verandah is accessed by both the downstairs bedroom and lounge. Parking on site for 2 cars up a steep drive. Cel Mawr is in an elevated and enviable position in a popular area called Shutta, its clean, light and airy rooms are beautifully presented with tasteful furnishings. Shutta is a quiet area, yet within quick walking distance to all the pubs, shops, restaurants and East Looe's sandy beach. This charming and beautifully presented property is a must to be considered for those wishing to be ideally located to all of Looe's amenities, but yet wishing to have peace and quiet back at your wonderful base! Sleeps 6. SATURDAY TO SATURDAY CHANGEOVER APPLIES. In my opinion not suitable for people with mobility restriction as Cel Mawr is located up a hill. please phone the office regarding this.

Property Type Cottage
Location Shutta is a quiet area within East Looe, and Shutta Road runs up to where you will find Cel Mawr located on the way up with an elevated position affording stunning river views. Within a few minutes walk you will find yourself in the heart of East Looe where you can take advantage of the pubs, shops, restaurants, sandy beach, and harbourside fishing and coastal cruises.
Nearest Pub/Restaurant The Globe Inn 1 minute walk away, but only a few minutes walk away from many pubs and restaurants in East Looe.
Lounge Beautiful and spacious lounge leading off to a verandah where you can sit, relax and enjoy the river views. There is a t.v./dvd in the lounge. 3 seater and 2 seater cream leather sofas and matching leather recliner chair.
Dining Facilities Separate Dining area with modern table and 6 chairs.
Kitchen New kitchen (2011) with all usual extras, including: electric oven and gas hob, dishwasher, fridge and freezer and microwave. There is a separate utility area which houses the washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a vegetable steamer and filter coffee machine available.
Bedrooms 2 Double bedrooms (1 of these is downstairs). The upstairs bedroom has a 5 foot bed. 1 Twin bedded room also upstairs.
Bathrooms 1 Family bathroom with bath, wash hand basin and toilet (shower attachment above the bath). 1 Shower room with shower cubicle, wash hand basin and toilet.
Additional Features Iron and ironing board available for your use.
Heating Gas central heating. There are no electricity or gas meters, therefore your rental includes these utilities. Real fireplace in the lounge this is not to be used.
Parking Parking for 2 cars on site up a steep drive.
Outside There is a verandah which runs along two sides of the property accessed via doors from within the Lounge, downstairs bedroom and hallway where you can sit out and enjoy stunning river views. There is a patio area where you can have a bar-b-cue, and another patio area with table and chairs.
Children Children Welcome.
Pets Pets by arrangement and charged at £25.00 per pet per week.
Smoking Policy Smoking not permitted, however you have a verandah leading from the lounge and bedroom where you are able to smoke.
Linen Linen provided. Tea towels provided. Towels not provided.
Additional Information Short breaks available out of season. A deposit of £100.00 will be required in addition to the rental and this will be used to cover any breakages/damage to the property, and will be fully refunded at the end of your stay subject to the property being found in a satisfactory condition.
