The Eden Project

The Eden Project is sometimes referred to as the “8th wonder of the world”. It has the largest greenhouse in the world and displays plants from around the globe. There are also outdoor gardens, an education area and exhibitions. The Eden Project is located in St Austell, Cornwall, which is only about 45 minutes in the car from Looe and Polperro.

It’s easy to get to the Eden Project if you’re travelling from Looe and Polperro and there is lots of parking, as well as a park and ride service. Tickets are just £5 for children and the under-5s go free. Adult tickets are £16 and family tickets are also available. Additionally, discounts are offered for students and senior citizens.

There’s plenty to interest children and adults at the Eden Project, making it a perfect day out for families holidaying in Looe and Polperro. There are often events taking place such as workshops, story sessions and treasure trails. There are also play areas, sandpits and other attractions just for kids.

For holiday cottages in Looe, just a short drive from the Eden project in a historic coastal fishing town, go to the Looe & Polperro Holidays website.
