Days Out In Cornwall.

During your stay in the East of Cornwall, why not take a trip to the West of the county.  Approximately 1 hour drive from the Looe area will see  you in the equally beautiful area of West Penwith.  Like the majority of Cornwall's seaside towns the main port of Penzance offers much for the holiday visitor to see and do.  Penzance is a thriving town in its own right.  The last stop on Britains rail network and the gateway to the Isles of Scilly are Britains most westerly inhabited islands set twenty miles off the Cornish coast with their famously golden sandy beaches, old fishing and farming cottages, pubs, shops and restaurants.  The islands offer a great chance to appreciate rare wildlife which exists in the comparatively tropical micro climate prevelent to the Isles of Scilly.
